Awards

Players of the year, All-AJG Team and All-AJG Academic Team members, and those receiving special awards are recognized at the highly attended year-end banquet which is held in early fall each year.
All-AJG Team
Awarded to the top 10 point finishers from each division in the Open Division Club Division (including ties).

All-AJG Academic Team
Awarded to those high-school student-athletes having a 3.5 or higher GPA. To be eligible, year-end transcripts must be sent to the AJG office by Aug. 1.

Aroha "Roh" Wezner Trophy
Given each year in honor of former Executive Director Aroha "Roh" Wezner, this award recognizes the 18-Hole Open Division player with the lowest scoring average from the Summer Series. Players must have participated in at least five events to be eligible to receive this award.

Grand Championship Giddings Cup TrophiesGiddings CupsGiddings CupsGiddings Cups
Perpetual trophies are presented to the champions from the Grand Championship in the 18-Hole Open Boys 15-18 Division and 18-Hole Open Girls 7-18 Division.

GSGA Handicap Super Poster Award
A certificate presented by the Georgia State Golf Association to those junior golfers who post at least 25 scores from rounds played during the current year on or before August 1.

GSGA Most Improved Golfer Award
A certificate presented by the Georgia State Golf Association to one male and female junior whose handicap improves the most during the Summer Series. Juniors must post at least ten 10 scores from any rounds (from Atlanta Junior Golf tournaments or otherwise) played during this time period to be eligible for this award.

Jr. Golf Ambassador Award
Presented annually to a group or individual who has contributed to the advancement of junior golf and helped to secure its future by promoting and preserving the traditions and integrity of the game.

Larry Nelson Sportsmanship Award
An award recognizing the juniors who best exemplify and understand the courtesies, decorum and etiquette of the game of golf. Larry Nelson and AJG feel these attributes are the most important lessons taught by this great game.

MAADA Award
An award that recognizes the player with the highest Player of the Year Points standing for the season from the 18-Hole Open Division. In the event of a tie, the player who earned the most cumulative points in all of his/her events will be recognized as the MAADA Award winner.

Most Improved Award
Awarded to the most improved male and female from the 18-Hole divisions (Open or Club). Players must play at least 5 complete 18-hole rounds in consecutive seasons to be eligible for this award.

Players of the Year
Awarded to the top point finisher(s) from each age group in the Open Division who has competed in a minimum of five (5) Summer Series events.

Player of the Year (Fall Series)
Awarded to teh top point finhser(s) from each age group and division at the conclusion of the Fall Series

RBC Service Award
The RBC Service Award is presented annually to the junior golfer that most exemplifies the values of RBC Bank during the calendar year through the Season-Ending Championships. Players are selected based upon their commitment to the integrity of the game, willingness to assist others on and off the golf course and personal responsibility for performance.
